“I think you have to have faith in people before they earn it. Otherwise it's not faith, right?” It’s not often (probably never for most people) that you find a book that, for a good 75% of the book, you dislike 99% of the characters in it and yet, YOU KEEP READING. It seems utterly ridiculous to even say that about a book that I have given 5 stars to, I get it. But it’s how I felt reading this book and it’s a testament to the absolute artistry that is the writing of this story for me. It’s not my typical read and if any other book was like this, it would be left unfinished. I see no shame in not finishing a book you don’t love. There are too many wonderful books out there to discover, why read something you don’t wholeheartedly adore?
