Driven (book one) by K. Bromberg

You know when you discover something so fantastic you wish you'd known about it your whole life? This is one of those books. I discovered K.Bromberg early into her writing career and haven’t looked back since.

At first when I started reading I thought I knew what kind of book this was going to be. You meet Rylee and you learn pretty quickly she’s a force to be reckoned with. She’s fierce brave and strong and I love that.

You get introduced to Colton very early and he appears to be like so many other alpha males in romance books. Oh, how wrong I was. As the story unfolds, you realise that for all his bluster and dirty talk, Colton is a damaged and deeply feeling guy who doesn’t know how to let anyone in.

Their chemistry is insane and the push-pull of their relationship will have you longing for more. It’s a deeply emotional story and one that I have read a number of times and fall more in love with each time I read it.

It is without a doubt one of the best trilogies out there. So many stories end up full of endless filler and fluff that adds nothing to the story other than word count and you get very little out of them. This series is not like that at all.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant—a must read for romance readers everywhere!

“I think you have to have faith in people before they earn it. Otherwise it's not faith, right?” It’s not often (probably never for most people) that you find a book that, for a good 75% of the book, you dislike 99% of the characters in it and yet, YOU KEEP READING. Fueled (book two) by K. Bromberg

Incredible . Colton and Rylee’s story continues in book two of the Driven Series and it goes from strength to strength. There were so many, so many parts in this story that had me actually growling at my kindle. Colton can truly be the most infuriating male in the book world sometimes. But I get it. And so will you. As is always the case with K.Bromberg , you’ll get a heap load of emotions and sexiness but it’s not all the story is. There is a complicated and deep story woven throughout and it’s beautiful to read. There are some utterly heartbreaking moments that left me breathless and with tears streaming down my face, but there were also many, many moments of absolute belly laughing and that’s truly what I need from a book. Everything . There are few books that make me throw my kindle, only to go right back and pick it up, because I just had to know what was going to happen. And then it did … I LOVE this series.

Cor Amare (Luna #2) by Pepper Winters

“Someday...but not today,” There’s no doubt that Pepper has a unique ability to create worlds and characters that you haven’t met before. She writes love with an intensity that burns from the page and sears soul-mates together for eternity and this story is no different. I really wanted to love this duet—I loved the idea of everything being surrounded by water, that the love story span a lifetime and I adored the way in which the story was told. But Cor Amare left me feeling a little like the first one did, that it didn’t quite deliver on what I hoped for. Cor Amare picks up exactly where we left off in Lunamare —Aslan is on the run and Neri is trying to pick up the pieces and keep him safe. The story is a whirlwind for many chapters and then Pepper lulls us into a place of presumed safety … which of course doesn’t last for long. Strangely I found Aslan most likeable when he was apart from Neri and trying to survive his ordeal. I found his strength and sheer determination to fight in...
