Dark Notes by Pam Godwin

It’s universally known that the more forbidden something is, the more desirable it becomes. This is my first—but certainly not my last— Pam Godwin book. And once again, I have my best friend to thank for getting me to finally read this story. It’s been on my TBR list for a long time, and for me, those books always seem to be the ones I end up loving the most. It’s almost like, my heart knows they’re THAT good and saves them for when I really need them. Anyway, THIS BOOK . It goes without saying that the sexual tension was off the charts from the second they met and it didn’t let up. Their connection was intense and wild and at no point did I feel that it wasn’t right. Ivory is an incredibly strong female lead—which I adored. Her fierceness was fantastic to read and her strength to keep going no matter how difficult it got made me want to yell in joy. I felt her turmoil and struggles so clearly and I felt like I understood them a little too. Emeric … wow . That man is a furnace. From ...

Je Suis a Toi (Monsters in the Dark #4) by Pepper Winters

Je t'aime avec toutes les ombres du monde pour l'éternit I've finished this entire Monsters in the Dark series for, I think, the second time? It could be the third and I loved it more this time round than I think I ever have. Although this didn't have the same depth as the other novels, with it being a novella, it finished the series off well. Of course there was tension, Q and Tess thrive on a little tension after all. It was sexy and it was heartfelt love which we have come to expect. They are uniquely them and I adore them both. I would of course love to see more from Q and Tess and luckily for me, they appear in a couple of other stories that will make up part of my epic Pepper reread. Until next time, Maître Q. Je Suis a Toi. • Needless to say, if you’re unsure if dark is for you, then please do your research and read the trigger warnings for this book.  It’s not light. It’s not fluffy. Please read responsibly. You can find trigger warnings on  Pepper's websit...

One Dirty Night by Pepper Winters

Four elements. Four powers. Once Choice. Wow. Okay. I’m not entirely sure how to review this book if I’m honest. There’s a lot I could say, but it would totally spoil it. Firstly I just want to remind every single person who reads— there’s no judging here . Read what you love and what feeds your soul. Once you set yourself free from others opinions … you’ll enjoy it a whole lot more. Now … I’m going to simply say, Pepper is right, this book is filthy. It’s dirty and depraved and so damn sexy. The heat sizzles from the pages and there’s very little let up. Right when you think you can catch your breath … it starts again. But there’s also a lot of emotions and feeling within the story too. As always Pepper knows how to write a book that has you questioning yourself, but that’s why I lover her stories. I want to be pushed to the very end of all my boundaries and comfort zone and fall head-first and love every second. Hunter is the star of the show for me—he’s absolutely divine and ...
