Romancing Mr Bridgerton (Bridgerton #4) by Julia Quinn

I really enjoyed Colin and Penelope’s story, much more than I was expecting to.

I found it so easy to read and I simply adore Penelope even more than I did at the beginning. She is a character that is just full of goodness, kindness and empathy as we see throughout this story. But she’s also brave and talented and so overlooked by most people it drives me crazy.

I enjoyed seeing more of Colin too and even though he frustrated me at times, I liked that he could be vulnerable and honest with Pen. I loved reading him realising he felt much more for her than he thought he did, I adored reading him falling in love with her and I loved how protective of her he was.

I loved how Colin’s love and desire for Pen allowed her to feel sexy and desired and wanted, After all isn’t that what every female wants? And who knew a mirror could be very erotic? Colin Bridgeton apparently.

Another easy, cute and simple read but one I enjoyed very much. I’m excited to see what they do with their series even more now.

“I think you have to have faith in people before they earn it. Fueled (book two) by K. Bromberg

Incredible . Colton and Rylee’s story continues in book two of the Driven Series and it goes from strength to strength. There were so many, so many parts in this story that had me actually growling at my kindle. Colton can truly be the most infuriating male in the book world sometimes. But I get it. And so will you. As is always the case with K.Bromberg , you’ll get a heap load of emotions and sexiness but it’s not all the story is. There is a complicated and deep story woven throughout and it’s beautiful to read. There are some utterly heartbreaking moments that left me breathless and with tears streaming down my face, but there were also many, many moments of absolute belly laughing and that’s truly what I need from a book. Everything . There are few books that make me throw my kindle, only to go right back and pick it up, because I just had to know what was going to happen. And then it did … I LOVE this series.

Cor Amare (Luna #2) by Pepper Winters

“Someday...but not today,” There’s no doubt that Pepper has a unique ability to create worlds and characters that you haven’t met before. She writes love with an intensity that burns from the page and sears soul-mates together for eternity and this story is no different. I really wanted to love this duet—I loved the idea of everything being surrounded by water, that the love story span a lifetime and I adored the way in which the story was told. But Cor Amare left me feeling a little like the first one did, that it didn’t quite deliver on what I hoped for. Cor Amare picks up exactly where we left off in Lunamare —Aslan is on the run and Neri is trying to pick up the pieces and keep him safe. The story is a whirlwind for many chapters and then Pepper lulls us into a place of presumed safety … which of course doesn’t last for long. Strangely I found Aslan most likeable when he was apart from Neri and trying to survive his ordeal. I found his strength and sheer determination to fight in...
